The pedagogical sailboat

The sailboat is an excellent support for multidisciplinary education. Besides, the marine environment around the sailboat is an open laboratory for studying life sciences. However, collaborations between the nautical world and schools on a long-term educational project are sparse. The same observation can be made regarding the collaboration between schools and research centres. This kind of collaboration, when it exists, is part of isolated initiatives and is rarely developed in a long-term collaboration.
The Pedagogical Sailboat project funded under the Erasmus+ programme (KA2 Strategic Partnerships) addresses these needs.
